Term Four Maths Course Overview

Course Duration: 10 weeks, starting from 14 October, 2024, to 21 December, 2024

Format: Weekly in-person classes and optional homework and practice sessions
Location: Ground Floor, 3 Margot Street, Epsom, Auckland

Primary Level Courses (Years 1-6)

  • Class Structure:
    Small-sized classes for focused learning.

  • Core Curriculum:
    We cover essential math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, algebra and geometry. Our approach includes the CPA (Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract) method, interactive math games, and activities to make learning engaging and enjoyable.

  • Course Options:

    • One 1-hour taught class per week; or

    • Package: One 1-hour taught class + One 1-hour homework and practice session per week (subject to availability)

  • Homework and Practice Session:
    Reinforces key concepts with guided practice and homework support.

Secondary Level Courses (Years 7-13)

  • Class Structure:
    Small-sized classes, ensuring individual attention for each student.

  • Curriculum Coverage:
    Our courses support NCEA, CAIE, and IB curricula with a focus on building a solid foundation in numbers and algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics.

  • Course Options:

    • One 1-hour taught class per week; or

    • Package: One 1-hour taught class + One 1-hour homework and practice session per week

  • Homework and Practice Session:
    Provides support with homework, extra practice, and preparation for assessments.

  • Advanced Support:
    Special emphasis on exam techniques, critical thinking, and strategies to excel in standardized tests such as NCEA and CAIE assessments.

    Subject to availability, we offer tailored one-on-one sessions for students seeking individual guidance.
